My Lovely Lady confirmed the good early season form of the Michael Bell team as she kept on under hands and heels riding for her inexperienced claiming rider. She is qualified for handicaps now but could find a little maiden beforehand on this showing.
Country Escape, already gelded, ran well on his racecourse bow as he stayed on strongly in the final furlong. He should come on considerably for this outing and will leave this effort behind too.
