Analyis of the race

The step up from 2m was just what was required for the previously frustrating KINGS BROOK to open his account after a run of placed efforts. He still made hard work of it, hanging left in the straight and clouting the second-last, but he got on top on the run-in and, now he has broken his duck, further success could follow at this trip.

Lord Jay Jay, who has been tried at a range of distances this season, ran his best race and this intermediate trip may well be his best for now.
