POLLIWILLINE has produced improved form for the step up in trip and connections, forgiving her last run as being over the top, feel a straight mile might also suit. She is likely to come on for the run as she idled in front, having edged left when initially challenging giving Robustian a couple of nudges which made no difference to the result.
Tommy Toogood was far from disgraced, just getting tapped for toe and running room at a vital stage before staying on takingly in the final 150 yards despite wanting to edge left. He is a big strong colt who should continue to progress for this first run back on turf, although the handicapper has taken no chance in rating his all-weather win.
Crimson Flame ran a shade better than the bare form as the weakening and hanging leader Kings Heir caused traffic problems and Crimson Flame had to switch wider, although he made little more ground on the third.
Snark was most disapppointing as he never looked happy for whatever reason and never raised a challenge to suggest caution after his good all-weather win last November.
Kings Heir was reported to have hung left.
Crimson Flame was reported to have suffered interference.
