Two fair novice hurdlers by mares' standards and they came clear at the end of a race run at only as steady pace until setting out on the final circuit.

DIKLERS ROSE had run well when second at around this trip on her two previous starts and dictated affairs, making most and having the pace to see off her only challenger in the straight.

Ile Maurice is more of a stayer than the winner and the way she kept on all the way to the line suggests she will be seen to better advantage granted a stiffer of stamina - she will be suited by three miles.
