KEENAN'S FUTURE, a winning Irish pointer, handled conditions well, and after travelling well in a moderately run affair, came away going to the last. Stamina looks his strong suit, and though this wasn't the most competitive of events, he can find another opportunity over hurdles though is viewed as a chaser in the making.
Seymar Lad, who had shown improved form when second at Market Rasen on his previous start, had every chance as he raced up with the pace but couldn't quicken. He is likely to do better over fences.
These three were clear of Caulkleys Bank, who is now qualified for a handicap mark, and should improve on this on better ground. What'sonyourmind isn't the best of jumpers and Delightful Cliche was too keen and ran below his best.
