FOLY PLEASANT is in a different league to these, but rather like at Bangor on his last start, he was not always convincing with his jumping, hitting the 11th, getting in close five from home and then jumping left at the last. Having said that, he still has plenty of class to hold his own in this sphere, although on the evidence of what he has shown on both his starts so far, it would be a surprise to see him challenging in the Fox Hunters again this year.

Despite his fine record in points, Irilut had failed to complete in his three starts under rules prior to this. This was much more what would be expected of him, and he looks certain to be competitive in his next start, so that he can get qualified for Cheltenham.

Dalcassian Buck has a poor strike rate under rules, and does not look like he will be bettering that soon.
