OPERA DE COEUR, a winner of his sole start on the Flat in France, followed up his win over this course and distance four weeks ago with a convincing performance here, making every yard before running on at the end. Although he has only encountered rain softened ground, his trainer does not believe that is essential for him, although warns he would not want the ground too quick. He is likely to step up in grade now, although plans remain fluid.
Slew Chance posted another pleasing effort for his in form trainer. He made a slight hash of it at the last, but in all fairness, he probably would not have got on terms with the winner, who could be an above average sort.
Investment Wings ran in snatches here and, after getting shuffled back through the field running down the back straight, rallied again in the home straight.
Four Schools was uneasy in the betting on his British debut. He posted a respectable effort, although he was not fluent three out.
Ember Dancer lost plenty of ground at the start.
