Handsome Cross was up there disputing it from the outset and stuck to his task well to beat all but the winner. It was his best run for some time.
Raccoon had every chance and kept on well on his first run of the campaign. Plateau had every chance on the outside and this was a better run from him than of late.
Diamond Katie,1lb out of the handicap, showed a bit more than she had on her first two runs for her new connections.
