She had been a frustrating maiden on the Flat when with the Ian Wood stable, and her stamina for hurdling was far from assured, but this decisive career-first success proves she stays the trip very well. While she may have beaten little, and now faces a hike in the weights, she enjoyed racing off the decent pace and willbe high on confidence for her next assignment.
The ex-Irish Gotontheluckyone, making his debut for new connections after a 143-day absence, showed arguably his best form to date and finished a clear second best. He is entitled to improve on this and has found his level now.
Garhoud was doing his best work at the finish and improved on his latest dismal effort over further.
Tizi Ouzou, with cheekpieces replacing a visor this time, ran her usual race and helps set the level of this form.
