The mare had thrown away a winning chance at Newton Abbot on her previous start but her trainer wisely rejected suggestions to fit her with blinkers.
Treaty Flyer appreciated a step back in trip but was readily brushed aside by the winner. She goes on quicker ground and is holding her form well.
Little Venus shaped well on her first venture into handicap company and should soon pick up a similar race.
Lilac was returning from an equally lengthy absence under a new trainer. She had every chance running round rivals into the straight but fell away tamely in the end.
