JOCKSER followed up his recent Exeter success under his penalty in tremendously game fashion. He took time to find his stride, but responded strongly when asked for maximum effort in the home straight, and was always going to get up on the run-in. The longer trip proved no problem, and he acted on the softer ground well, but the Handicapper's reaction to this will no doubt make his lifemuch harder now.
Amicelli did nothing wrong in defeat and was only agonisingly reeled in close home. He really needs faster ground, and has jumped better in the past, but on this evidence his turn does not look far off once again.
Woodlands Genpower, equipped with first-time blinkers, posted a much-improved effort under a positive ride, but was once again found wanting at the business end of the race.
Whitford Don, making his debut for new connections in a first-time visor, jumped like a chaser on this return to thesmaller obstacles and never figured from off the gallop.
Top-weight Rosarian never looked happy at any stage and proved very disappointing. He really wants better ground and it is not hard to see just why he wears a visor.
