Analyis of the race

An uncompetitive maiden.

SONIC ANTHEM, who had very moderate form on turf last year, took well to the fibresand and ran out a convincing winner, and it will be interesting to see how the handicapper interprets the form as he scored by a wide margin from Sand Repeal, who is currently rated 14lb superior to him.

*Eddie Creighton reported that Pearl Oyster had a breathing problem and never travelled.*Mark Coumbe reported that Naemi had lost her action.
