Scuba, who has been running creditably recently, stayed on for pressure, though he did not look the most straightforward of rides as he hung away from the whip. But a similar event, over 7f, could fall to him.
Savile's Delight, held up of late, was given his head on this occasion and was only collared in the last 100 yards. But he remains a difficult horse to catch right.
Shannon Arms, having his first run for Kevin Ryan after a move from Ireland, could never go the pace afterbeing slowly away from the stalls and probably wants further these days.
Dash of Lime was another who never got in a blow on this fibresand debut but gave the impression that she can do better, possibly on the quicker Polytrack.
