Having gained his past three wins at around a mile-six, the strong gallop was always going to suit ISA'AF and he benefited from a good, enterprising ride from Joey Walsh, who took several lengths out of the field turning in. Given this is the highest mark he has ever won off, things will be tougher when he is reassessed, but he will avoid a penalty if turned out in the meantime.
Romil Star, a multiple course winner, did not travel as well as he can, but kept on responding to pressure and got closest to the enterprisingly ridden winner.
Yenaled proved very easy to back, but would have appreciated the decent pace and did not appear to have any major excuses.
Windy Prospect had never previously raced beyond a mile and failed to prove suited by this longer trip.
High Frequency ensured this was a good test from the start, but he found nothing when asked for his effort, despite appearing to have got a breather when upsides the eventual winner down the back straight. It was a very poor race he managed to win two starts ago.
Rare Coincidence, back on the Flat after a respectable run over hurdles, was unable to dominate and ran no sort of race.
