Out Of India, up 7lb for a win at Redcar in October, looked a big threat 2f out but could not sustain her challenge late on. She may be better over 7f, but might also just have needed this first outing in almost three months.
Owed, successful over 6f here on Sunday, was always going to be vulnerable over this trip and so it proved, while Devil's Island, having his first run since the autumn of 2004, was never travelling after a sluggish start.
