WINGS OF MORNING benefited from dropping back from 1m, always chasing the pace and leading close home. Though he had not won for a while he had been running creditably in this grade and should continue to give a good account at this level.
Feast Of Romance came back to a bit of form after a five-week break and ran well from his wide draw, just ahead of Sierra, another to run well after being freshened up by a little lay-off - this proved she is effective on fibresand. Ace Club does best when able to lead and ran well from the front here, giving best only well inside the final 1f.
Pennel ran one of his better races, ahead of Paper Doll, who may be better on Polytrack, but the remainder were well held.
