There was a lot to like about the victory of SNOQUALMIE BOY, who is gradually getting the hang of things in a big way, as he was never going to be beaten once hitting the front despite the race being run not to suit him. His trainer was full of talk about going for the Dante and reopposing the well regarded Hala Bek who beat him at Newbury and then think about the Derby. All well and good but off his current mark he would have a major chance in a big handicap somewhere.
Smart Gal gave the impression she would benefit from another step upin distance and should be found an opening.
Mujood, with the blinkers back on , is beginning to have an exposed look.
