Despite the numbers not many could be fancied in this six-furlong maiden and the time was notably a couple of seconds slower than the opener.

LOYAL ROYAL just about set the standard on his placed efforts where he had been second three times and taken on Group 3 company. He had matters well on control when hanging badly left inside the final furlong and also flashed his tail, hinting that there is more than a little temperament in his make-up. However he still won by quite a way and, as a result , is not going to be that easy to place as he is already rated 84.

Always Emirates ran on well but never had any chance of getting to the winner. Purely based on this run he wants further and is now eligible for mark and with his stable still to strike peak form there could be more to come.

You Call That Art is actually rated a couple of pounds higher than thewinner and is beginning to look exposed.

Serene Dancer plugged on as if there may be a little race in her at some stage.
