Another low grade race which GUILDENSTERN proved far too good for his rivals to give him a much-needed confidence boost. He has won at a higher level and his rating had eased to give him a good chance here and he took it in style despite the narrow margin.\NThe one-eyed maiden Drumming Party ran another sound race, keeping up the chase but again was wanting to hang and remains a difficult ride.

Summer Recluse was outpaced and stumbled when switching around a rival which left him plenty to do. He closed all the way to the line without sniffing the front two and is another who remains hard to win with as he gets little respite from the handicapper with placed efforts.
