Angel Voices had some solid form last term, but spoilt her chance by racing too keenly, and though she went clear over 2f out, she weakened in the closing stages. She'll win her maiden, but will need to settle better if she's to stay a mile, in this sort of ground at least.
There was five lengths back to long-time leader Lady Georgette, who improved on her AW form, and she in turn was clear of English Archer, who is now qualified for a handicap mark. Of the rest Baileys Polka left the impression she'll come on for the run.
