An apprentice handicap consisting of mainly exposed sorts went to OUR LITTLE SECRET. Proving there was no draw bias, she was one of a group of eight to race stand side, and making all, was clear two out and won unchallenged. Although she's exposed she goes well on this track as both her wins have been over course and distance.

Dorn Dancer has come back in good form, and though 7lb higher than when winning on her reappearance at Musselburgh, ran a decent race to come out best of the far side group.

George The Best also shaped better than on his last two starts.

The rider of Percy Douglas lost an iron, Trick Cyclist was very slowly away and Blackheath reared and lost ground at the start.
