This didn't look the strongest renewal of the juvenile event, but it was won in good style by Lingfield runner-up SPOOF MASTER, who was the only one in the field to have had a run. Fast away, he made all and was clear with two furlongs to run, scoring pushed out. He still looked backward in his coat, so may improve a little more and he'll be interesting in a novice event in the near future.

Rouen, a strongly made sort, was the pick of the paddock, but he took a little time to find his stride, and though soon in touch, he had no chance with the winner. He'll come on for the run and should be found a race.

Elizabeth Garrett, a neat filly, kept on for fourth ahead of Flying Lion, who was very slow to break but ran on. Wiseton Dancer and Jojesse showed speed but faded.
