| Josarty Bel Cantor close up, led halfway, ridden clear well over 1f out, driven and headed inside final furlong, weakened slowly into stride and behind, headway 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong, nearest finish |
Analyis of the race | A run-of-the-mill handicap, run at a solid gallop from the outset. ELECTRIC WARRIOR, following on from his recent Haydock success, found his 4lb higher mark no barrier, despite being drawn wide, and saw his race out in fine style under an excellent ride. He is in really good nick at present. Mr Cellophane ran a sound race in defeat and deserves to find a winning opportunity. Imperial Gain again showed ability, while Smile For Us reverted to turf and ran a creditable race, only being outpointed inside the last furlong. Thedisappointment was Boy Dancer, who never travelled with any fluency and never promised to pick up like he did at Carlisle last time.
