Prairie Sun is on a career-high mark of 74, but ran a fine race in second, being sent on turning for home and being caught only in the last stride. This was a better effort than last time oneasier ground at Newcastle, but though she may well find a race, she's going to be vulnerable if she goes up much for this sound run.
Openide although a useful hurdler is still a maiden on the Flat, but ran creditably here to finish fourth ahead of College Rebel, who was keen, and Haatmey, who was sweating up quite badly beforehand.
