Analyis of the race

The ground was on the fast side. This was quite an interesting novice hurdle and it was won in good style by ALL THINGS EQUAL, who hasn't been easy to train but clearly goes well on fast ground. After racing quite keenly, he drew clear with the runner-up after the third last, but soon had that one's measure and won without being asked a serious question. He can win again and his trainer reckons he'll make up into a nice chaser.

Troll will find a race. He raced keenly, but drew clear with the winner from the third last, but couldn't quicken. He'll improve if he learns to settle better.

\Another to shape well was Bobbing Cove, who was in touch jumping three out, but though outpaced, improved markedly on his debut run. Justwhateveryoulike made a mistake at the first and never got into it.
