A similar tale to the first race with Amber Glory blazing away and taking Garlogs along in his wake and both paid for it in the testing conditions in the final furlong.

MILTONS CHOICE, better over six furlongs, had the race run to suit and although he was being driven along at halfway in third, his stamina won the day as he wore down weakening rivals. This was a good seasonal return against race-fitter rivals. He has done well over the winter and the trainer has a great record with lowly rated sprinters like him and he should be followed as better ground holds no fear either.

Garlogs was bumped by the winner as he went by and, as he was already gasping from earlier exertions, it had the effect of finishing him and he was eased in the final strides which brought Thoughtsofstardom closer than ever looked likely as he had been toiling fully five lengths off the leaders on the stands rail going to the final furlong.
