Catbang ran much his best race on turf, confirming his all-weather improvement, despite hanging right.
Rebellious Spirit deserves credit as he had the worst of the draw and also did not get a clear run over a furlong out. He had been running well and clearly remains in the form to continue to give a good account.
Bold Cross ran well for a long way but weakened in the closing stages and may come on again for the outing.
Croft is a fairly exposed gelding and his relative proximity suggests this was not a strong handicap.
