Lightly-raced novice Not A Trace produced another sound effort. Still a maiden under both codes, he handled this drop back in trip well.
Hat-trick-seeking Clouding Over was given her normal hold-up ride but when push came to shove, she was beaten by the weight and the ground over this trip.
Lanaken, likes to blaze from the front, but probably set off too quickly for his own good on this occasion and predictably fell in a heap turning out of the back straight.
