A non-handicap seller in which the first four home were all among those most favoured by the weights.

Indigo Sky and Sunset Dreamer disputed a strong pace, and that played into the hands of favourite BARTON SANDS, who was best in at the weights but has done most of his winning over an extra 2f. When he took it up it looked as if he'd win reasonably decisively, but his rider was instructed not to hit him and he only just held on.

Welsh Wind was another who was held up well in rear, and he didn't enjoy the best of runs approaching the straight, although it's debatable if it made much difference.
