Party Belle, making her handicap debut, did not get the clearestof runs after the home turn but kept on well when seeing clear daylight. The handicapper probably has her about right.
Ms Rainbow Runner had a dream run up the inside rail off the final turn but could not capitalise on it. Her only win came in claiming company (when with Brian Meehan) and she clearly has her limitations.
Murrumbidgee finished with a flourish and looks as though a bit further will suit him. He became outpaced as the tempo increased before staying on nicely to finish on the heels of the leaders.
Having been drawn wide, Indian Wizard was dropped in early to get an inside position. He came to have his chance in the home straight but never looked like getting on terms.
Babeth was very keen towards the head of affairs and failed to get home. She looked more the type for sprint races.
