A bunched finish of these modest performers but a faster time than the first division by BOLLIN BILLY, who finished with a flourish down the outside of the bunch to win with some authority under top weight. His future will depend how the handicapper reacts to what arguably was not as hard a race to win as last time over course and distance. He just squeezed into this grade after some good efforts but a likely rise will make life tougher up a grade. He still looks progressive, however, and handles this track particularly well.

Taboor was something of a revelation as he sat comfortably in the pack and had to wait for a run around the home bend before squeezing through against the rail to momentarily look a winner. However, this sixth furlong stretches him - a return to five in this mood would be interesting.
