A daughter of multiple sprint winner Bangles, she looks to have a bit of temperament, as she was awkward to load into the stalls and has looked a madam in the past. She has an entry today at Southwell and connections are keen to let her take her chance.
There was no denying how eyecatching the run of Stamford Street was. Making his debut and slightly missing the break, he travelled really well in behind the pace before finding himself in a pocket on the home turn. With normal improvement, he can land a similar contest.
Pix was under stiff pressure over two furlongs from home and never looked like taking a hand in the finish. She is very modest indeed.
Sounds Simla never held her place early but finished quite well, while In Hope was the exact reverse, travelling smoothly up until the home bend before emptying right out.
Jockey Kevin May dropped his whip on Saxon Star with just over two furlongs to go and was only able to ride out hands and heels.
