POLYGONAL won on his all-weather debut. His trainer was concerned that his new purchase may have needed the run, his first since June, but those fears were soon put to rest as he produced a late charge to get up close home. Connections are now keen to head for the Winter Derby but he'll be given time to recover.
Rehearsal looked like making his long trip worthwhile, have made all the running and gradually winding things up from the front. He was brave and will surely find compensation soon, having had only two starts on this surface.
Shahzan House showed much more than when disappointing on his all-weather debut at Wolverhampton last week. The cheek-pieces were back on here and he's probably got a decent race in him.
Cold Turkey, who had beaten Rehearsal in a slowly run event at Wolverhampton last time, couldn't confirm that form.
