Billyandi came through to lead over three furlongs out but was only there on sufferance as the winner came up to join but ran well enough to suggest he can win a similar sort of race.
Coach Lane ran well enough without really threatening and Runaway Bishop was not surprisingly outpaced over this inadequate two miles but stayed on really strongly in the closing stages and can be seen to much better effect over a longer trip.
