| A very moderate conditionals' chase that fell to the only previous winner over fences. JULIES BOY and his rider have established a good partnership, and the pair gained their fourth win together with a bold display, regaining the advantage at the last ditch and then running on too strongly for Munadil, who travelled well for a long way on this chasing debut under Rules on ground that was softer than he prefers. Munadil's current mark offers him a chance of picking up a small handicap. Kercabellec took on the winner for the lead but capitulated quickly in the straight and is yet to score in 21 starts over fences. The other two were making their chasing debuts; Valuso spoilt his chance with some sloppy jumping and Prairie Law gave his rider no chance at the first.
