Tycheros has been in great form and was only up another 3lb for his latest win, his fourth from his last six starts. He got into a sustained battle with Salute and had no answer when Establishment quickened past him.
Salute is on a decent mark these days and showed clear signs of returning to form.
Tranquilizer has been in good form, but she had her chance here and failed to repeat the form she showed on her first start at two miles.
Our Choice also kept on reasonably well, but Llamadas, who showed the best speed in a slowly-run race here on Monday, was in trouble on the home turn this time.
A couple of places further back Fiddlers Ford ran better than the bare facts suggest on this first run in 473 days.
