There was a good gallop to this competitive handicap, which saw LITTLE FLORA stay on dourly to collar Silver Sedge after the final fence. The winner, without a win to her credit since scoring over this course-and-distance a year ago, ran a game race and made the most of her light weight.

Silver Sedge went down fighting in second, but the concession of so much weight to the winner eventually took its toll.
