ABBEY DAYS had at least won consecutive point-to-points in January and he proved much too good for his rivals, jumping well and coming clear. The fast pace suited him on this step down in trip.
Jac An Ree is fairly consistent at a low level between the flags but this was his first run since April. He moved into a remote second on the home turn but needs further than this.
Classi Maureen, who has been in good form in point-to-points, lost her lead when blundering at the final ditch and was well beaten in fourth when pulling up before the last.
