Master Wells, a winning stayer on the Flat, ran a sound first race over hurdles, jumping well apart from the last, leading two out and keeping on despite his rider losing his whip after the last. He'll certainly find a race.
No Guarantees made the running but was outpaced from two out and was eased when beaten. He should find a race, but is proving expensive to follow.
