Dream Champion started favourite for the fourth consecutive occasion, and finished second for the fifth time in his five-race career. He has the ability to score, but is proving hard to win with. However, he was clear of Accordello, who is going to be seen to better advantage when she goes handicapping, with the rest well strung out behind.
