First Look also had the ground in his favour, but he ran as though he needs a bit further (he's won over two and a half miles over hurdles) for he couldn't quicken with the winner in the closing stages.
Haatmey is well treated now, but isn't proving easy to win with, Charlotte Vale had every chance and these five were clear of long-time leader John Forbes.
