A weak event, run in increasingly poor conditions and though they went no pace until quickening on the final circuit, they finished leg-weary. Despite her penalty and in ground she absolutely hated, TREATY FLYER proved much too good for this motley crew. The game filly came wide, taking the tactical route to find better ground and took it up approaching two out. She was headed in the final furlong by Fleurette, who stayed on well in the circumstances, but as she lagged towards the stands' rail, the winner found a second wind and battled back. Treaty Flyer will head straight to the EBF Final at Newbury on March 25 with every chance. From an in-form stable and also carrying a penalty, Fleurette had every chance and looked the likely winner over thelast. This drop in class helped her and she should find a similar event soon.

Ballybawn House was ridden patiently and got in to it off the final bend, but when asked to pick up, she was found wanting. This ground was against her, in fairness. Elle Roseador ran her best race to date,though her proximity throws a question mark over the form. However, she ran a nice race here in a bumper a while back and it may be that she is a horse for this course.
