DESERT TOMMY, who reportedly was hampered by a fallerand lost his action last time, stayed on in game fashion to score. He has been tried over a variety of trips but this distance seemed to suit him well but the form is average and things probably panned out for him on this occasion.
Abragante, another who disappointed last time when pulled up, ran much better and there is a race of this nature in him. He seemed to idle a little in front and could well want to be held up for a shade longer especially as he remains fairly well unexposed.
Bak to Bill's recent wins have all been over fences and the way he ran here suggests a return to the larger obstacles is what is needed.
