KEENAN'S FUTURE had gone into many notebooks after his Wetherby hurdles debut victory and he dug deep in the style of a progressive young novice to follow up. Judged on this battling display a bit further will hold no terrors for the gelding and he should continue to go the right way.
Rare Gold stuck to his task well and this point to point winner looks a certain future victor in similar company but obviously he will not be seen at his best until sent chasing.
Corals Laurel was held by the winner on their Wetherby running but was beaten further on this occasion. However he is now eligible for handciaps and could also be seen in a better light when the ground is not quite so testing.
On the other side of the coin Craven was a big disapointment and may not have been suited by the ground being gluey.
