Analyis of the race

A good prize, but not a particularly strong handicap, and OMNI COSMO TOUCH ran out a deserving winner. Having been switched back from fences to hurdles a few outings ago, he is currently thriving over the smaller obstacles. A tilt at the Coral Cup is now on the cards.

Ballybough Rasher, another horse probably better known as a chaser, ran a sound race in second, but lacked the power of the winner from the final flight.

The disappointment was Count Fosco, who, stepping-up from two and a half miles, ran below form.
