Analyis of the race

A competitive mares' handicap hurdle, but the early pace wasn't strong. BONGO FURY has an excellent win record, and has now found her form after being off for 19 months. On a mark 8lb higher than when scoring on her previous start at Sandown, she hit a flat spot before the straight, but then stayed on strongly after being sent on three from home. She is the sort who should continue on the upgrade and may stay a little further.

Dancing Pearl was 9lb better off with the winner compared to Sandown, and she ran another sound race but she is still high enough in the weights.

Prairie Moonlight, a bit keen early, was set plenty to do, but shaped as though she may have needed this after a break.

Isellido was too keen early, Debbie had every chance, but probably needs better ground.
