This left PALUA in the lead, and he made the rest of the running to score driven out. This was the winner's first win in handicap company but he had dropped to a fair mark following some below-par runs this term.
Argento kept on for second though was tending to edge left. He's run creditably on most starts this season, and should find a race when he gets some better ground.
Korakor was virtually knocked out of the race when hampered at the fifth, though it was far too far out to estimate how he would have fared, but this run is best ignored.
Winchester lost ground when he hit the fourth, and was several lengths adrift when he was hampered at the next.
