This was slightly faster than the juvenile event, but, unlike that race, it lacked strength in depth with two dominating both the market and the race. THE MARKET MAN, who didn't seem to run up to his best over two miles and three furlongs on his previous start, travelled strongly and drew right away once asked a question. Although this flatters him a bit, as the runner-up was eased when held, he is an interesting prospect who can win again.
