Analyis of the race

An ordinary race as the top weight was rated just 94, but the pace was a fair one. LANMIRE TOWER has come down 43lb since his latest win back in November 2002, but over a trip short of his best, he ran on well under an enterprising ride.

Vanishing Dancer's jumping wasn't fluent and he lost further ground with a mistake at the eighth, but he ran on through tiring rivals to take second.
