Shot To Fame was due to go down 3lb in the handicap from tomorrow and his effort signalled that he may be rediscovering his form after finishing unplaced in his first three starts this term. He didn't have the best of runs over two furlongsout but kept on quite well when the gaps came and is handicapped to win on his best form.
Roman Maze was held up in mid-division and made a promising move before the final turn but wasreadily put in his place by the winner. Serieux struggled from 5lb out of the handicap and Royal Dignitary made the running until weakening when headed by the winner. [TE]
